Yes. Listing a property, searching for rooms, and messaging are all completely free for students and landlords. Optional paid features like featured listings may come later, but the core will always stay free.

Instead of renting a whole unit, landlords list each bed in a shared room separately with its own price. You can see exactly how many beds are open in a room (for example, '1 of 2 available') and request just one bed.

Students can verify their school email to earn a verified badge, every stay can be reviewed by both sides, and any listing, message, or profile can be reported to our moderation team.

You send a soft booking request to the landlord with an optional message and move-in date. It is an expression of interest, not a payment. The landlord approves or declines, and approvals are handled safely so a bed is never double-booked.

Yes. Fill in your roommate preferences - sleep schedule, cleanliness, noise, and study habits - and FellowFlats shows a compatibility score against the people already living in a room.

Messaging stays inside the app, exact addresses are only approximated publicly until you connect, and you can export or delete your account data at any time from settings.
